Hello, my name is Kara. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts education and a Master’s Degree in Music Education both from The University of Northern Colorado. I am a certified teacher in Colorado with endorsements in music and Elementary education. I’m also a certified Musikgarten instructor with over 20 years of experience in teaching children of all ages, including adults. I offer individual instruction in piano, voice, flute, and music theory. I also offer early childhood music classes for children ages 3 to 8. I also offer audition coaching for music and theater students wishing to audition for All State choir and band or for performance groups and stage productions. The best part of my work as a music educator is being a part of my students’ musical journeys and seeing how music impacts their lives in so many positive ways!
