I believe that singing is a true expression of the soul. I also believe that your voice is an instrument that can express your feelings through many different styles. My preferred methods to express those feelings are Musical Theater, Classical and Opera singing. I am a classically trained vocalist with a degree in Musical Theater and Opera performance. I have a great deal of experience in performing. I love singing and performing. I am also available for beginning piano lessons. I have a strong background in music theory as well as college level classes in vocal pedigogy so I am very familiar with the workings of the human voice. I strongly believe that beginning vocal students should be trained with age appropriate styles and selections so they will be able to enjoy a life time of healthy singing!

- Practical experience in concert, theater, choral and solo performances.

I love helping others learn to create and share their passion. I am a middle school theater and English teacher during the day, but I also enjoy helping people with their musical expression as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will typically have a new vocal student sing a song of their choice for me so I can assess their nautral range and ability. Then I will listen to what their goals are for taking voice lessons. This will help me to set realistic goals for the student that will allow them to experience success in their vocal journey.
For beginning piano students, I will start with a foundational plan that will help them to learn to read music in the best ways possible. Most of the first few months is spent in learning the basics of reaind music and applying that to playing the piano. Once the student becomes more proficient in reading music, then a basic study of classical piano will be started.

Voice Lessons:
- $25 for 30 minutes; $40 for 45 minutes; $50 for 60 minutes
Beginning Piano Lessons:
- $20 for 30 minutes; $30 for 45 minutes; $40 for 60 minutes
