I have taught all kinds of students of all ages for almost 28 years. I have a Masters in Ethnomusicology and play electric bass in rock and jazz bands. I compose in jazz and a variety of styles. It's very hard to put me in any category. My teaching style is fun, relaxed and open-ended and focuses on developing musicality and expression. Above all, music makes one's life better, and you only have one chance to begin learning piano. Make sure you begin with the right teacher. If you are not a beginner, I can help you use your practice time better, and help you solve problems with composers such as Liszt, Ravel, Chopin, and Debussy.
