About
Hello! My name is Kristin. I teach private voice and piano lessons. I grew up in a musical household, with both my dad and uncle as college music professors. I can not imagine my life without music.
I received my BA in music from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I then received my Masters in Education along with three Montessori trainings spanning the ages of birth - 12 years old. I spent 9 years teaching in the Montessori classrooms. I then went on to receive my Masters in Music (Music Education) from Boston University.
I work with a wide age range of students, and believe my Montessori training and experience in combination with my musical training and skills bring a wonderful skill set to my private studio and my work with students.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$22.50 for a 30 minute lesson
$34 for a 45 minute lesson
$45 for a 60 minute lesson
I charge for the month. Towards the end of the month I send an e-mail with the schedule and invoice for the following month. You will have the opportunity to give me advanced notice of vacations, etc., and I will not charge you for that lesson. I do NOT offer refunds or credit for no-shows or short notice cancellations!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from 4 years to retirement age. I have worked with beginning students as well as students of advanced levels.
