Mark is excellent as a musician and teacher. He was very patient with me and helped me on my journey towards the learning experience with Chord Melody. I was able to record several CDs for my family and friends using his techniques . He spends a lot of time during each session to make sure you are learning correctly. I am positive you will appreciate the time and effort he puts into his teaching students at all levels.

I took Mandolin lessons from Mark for a number of years. Mark is an expert on the instrument, its history and the different styles of music that are played on the mandolin. Mark is always well prepared for the lesson and this added to the amount of ground we were able to cover at each lesson.

Their flexibility and range is phenomenal. This means if you tet them the night before and what to learn a new (to you) song, be it a Bach suite or Tin Pan Alley or Blues, etc., they will accommodate and still up your skill level. I come away from each lesson feeling Ive learned something, not frustrated, and happy. The repertoire Ive gained through their instruction packs three 3-ring binders! They are also Covid-friendly for in-person lessons or over zoom. As a multi year student, I highly recommend Handler & Levesque!
