The Nick Cutroneo Guitar Studio works with students all ages and levels. Beginners age 3-12 start in using the Suzuki Method. Beginners age 13 and older start with traditional methods. Students coming to the studio with prior playing experience are met with a specialized curriculum to help them achieve their personal musical goals.
We offer a Preschool Suzuki Guitar Group program for students ages 3-5. This unique group class mixes music movement classes with learning to play the guitar in a fun and nurturing enviornment.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Music from the Hartt School of Music in Classical Guitar Performance. During my time as an undergraduate I took courses in guitar pedagogy. Pedagogy is commonly known as "the study of teaching". During these courses I cultivated my resources and applied them to many different styles of guitar playing (Classical, Traditional, Folk, Jazz, Rock, Metal, etc...).
In addition, I recieved my Master of Music in Suzuki Guitar Pedagogy and Classical Guitar Performance, also from the Hartt School. This degree specifically developed my teaching skills in working with young students (as young as 3 years of age).
I have successfully guided students in their school's Jazz Band auditions (both middle school and high school jazz bands). In addition, I've mentored and guided several students through the audition process of music school with students being accepted and attending Cleveland School of Music, UT Austin, The Hartt School, New England Conservatory and many others.

The Nick Cutroneo Guitar Studio uses a tuition system. There are 3 terms over the course of the year: Fall, Spring and Summer. Both Fall and Spring terms are 5 months in length and consist of 18 lessons. The Summer term is 2 months in length and consists of 5 lessons. We offer 30, 45, 60 and 90 minute lesson length.
