I've been teaching from my location in Avon, CT for 30+ years. I take on students of all ages and experience and specialize in adult lessons. I am a very patient teacher with a flexible approach. I am very good at assessing a student's needs and opening up the next door. I also am well versed in many styles of music from rock & pop to bluegrass, swing & jazz. I have a BA degree from CCSU and was on the faculty of the National Guitar Workshop for 15 years.
I enjoy all the different types of students I teach. People enjoy music at many diffferent levels and I work to promote progress at every step of the way. Whatever your goals, we can work together to choose a good path to follow.
