Looking to teach students whatever they want to learn whatever style of music. Can also teach music theory, scales, improvisation. Basically I want to cater to the student and teach him or her whatever they most want to learn. I find that I want to provied the the best experience for the student and that he enoys wanting to learn music. I have been playing guitar and bass since I ws 9 years old and now I am 30, multiple bands, symphony, and saxophone in band in school. So I can teach jazz theory, how to read music, but mostly I just want it to be a fun experience for my students.
I like working with ll age groups teaching them in a way where they can go and learn to play their favorite songs. I can also teach music theory but I find that with kids it is more exciting for them to learn how to play the type of music they are into. Once we have established that we can work on scales , music theory, reading music. Same with adult I will cater the lesson t whatever you want to work on.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Figure out what th student wants to learn. I like all types of music and could learnthe song for the student and teach it to them, or if you are into learning music threory and playing scales and I could teach students the key the song is in for improvation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I used to teach students back in high school mostly bass as my main instrument. But I have worked customer service related jobs and now work in the healthcare field educating patients about different ways of finding cures for their health problems. I also love music and find that it is not as stressful at my job at the hospital. I am currently teaching 1 student now, but I can teach guitar, bass, or piano.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I am looking to make 40 to 50 an hour. I do work full time at a hospital so my days for teaching would be anytime Thursday or Weekends, and I alternate working Mondays and Tuesday every other week.
How did you get started teaching?
Passion for music and like making the student feel like they want to come back and are excited about music.
