I have been teaching for over 30 years including private lessons, grade school, high school and college, including University of Notre Dame
I’ve won a lot of awards, played with orchestras around the world, and performed with Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Diana Ross, Leonard Bernstein and Pavarotti to name, but a few.
Performed as soloist with The Philadelphia Orchestra, the Hong Kong Philharmonic, and the Orchestra of Thailand.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every student progresses at a different rate. Each has problems in different areas. I work with them to improve their weak areas while keeping it fun and enjoyable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to the Curtis Institute, University of Notre Dame, and am certified by Music Together.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Beginners get a Soecial deal. Purchase 10 lessons, get 3 free. Cost is $320 for 13 lessons. The free ones are the first and the last two.
How did you get started teaching?
I started right out of college at Germantown Friends school.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages, all levels.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone with experience that teaches scales and arpeggios and uses a metronome.
