Hello and congratulations for choosing piano lessons with StudioOnePiano.com and Karen Kohler. I have been teaching piano for 35 years. I began at age 7, played through high school and college. I love working with beginner students and adults. I am classically trained so believe in sight reading. I also enjoy Christian contemporary music, gospel hymns and of course popular songs you would hear on the radio. I teach out of my home on a baby grand Kawaii. I travel to Bear, Delaware once a week for my homeschool moms who have multiple children and find it easier for me to teach at their homes. I use things like music mind games, sight reading factory, and music theory.net. I am always researching new books and online materials for my students.
