About
Hi! I'm Julia DeGasperis. I am 23 years old, and a recently graduate from Florida Atlantic University, majoring with a Bachelors in Arts in music, and a focus in vocal studies. I am classically trained on the piano, as well as voice. I also teach ukulele, and beginner guitar. I have been teaching since the age of 17, and plan on doing it for the rest of my life.
Due to Covid-19, I am conducting virtual music lessons. I have found much success with my private lessons, and look forward to gaining more students online.
Music, and teaching are my life, and I couldn't be happier with the job I have.
I look forward to hearing from some of you!
I love working with people, and spreading my love of music onto others. Music is such an amazing gift that one can have, and I thrive off of a students success learning an instrument.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start off a new student with a beginner book of the instrument they choose. I give weekly assignments based on what we learn in the lesson that day. I make sure to implement music theory lessons throughout the lesson, as well as learning to read music.
