I love teaching music because of how rewarding it is to see when students "get it" after all the trials and errors! I love to teach because people don't understand that music is essential to feelings and emotions! I love to teach my students that there is a place they can find safe for them to flourish in music!
I specialize in piano, voice, and instrumental lessons (Band). I have had many experiences in vocal, piano, and brass pedagogy over the 20 years that I have been involved in music.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to begin a student by scoping out the students' end goal in music and the instrument. I like to know our goal and approach reaching that goal with the most effective approach.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a current Music Education Student and lack two semesters obtaining my Bachelor's degree in Music Education Instrumental at the Baptist College of Florida. I did the majority of my coursework and training at The University of North Alabama. I have served in my capacity as a trained musician in community orchestras, church ensembles, praise teams, worship choirs, collegiate choirs, etc. I have a versed knowledge in both vocal and instrumental pedagogy alike.
