Alexander Piano Studio

I have many years of experience teaching piano--started when I was 14, teaching beginners for my own teacher. Received my Bachelor's degree from the Oberlin Conservatory in Piano Performance, and a Master's from U. of S. Fla. in Choral Conducting. Have performed both solo and in ensembles around the state on piano, harpsichord and fortepiano. Have also attended the Baroque Performance Institute at Oberlin several times. Most of my students earn honors in auditions and theory tests.

I enjoy finding ways to connect with students and work with each one's individual methods of learning. I take great pleasure in hearing a student I have taught play with musicality and understanding, whether it is classical or popular music.
