Gabe's Guitar Lessons
About
I have 13+ years playing guitar. I specialize in rock, metal, pop, blues & r&b. I cater my lessons for my students needs using music they enjoy playing. I have taught many students from 9-adults so don't be hesitate if you think it's too late to learn something new.
I enjoy seeing the expressions on students faces when they finally see the progress they have been looking for. I enjoy helping students get to where they want to be all while enjoying their instrument. Learning should be fun!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process is talking with them first to see what their goals with the guitar are. What style are they looking to learn and having them play a little to see where they are at level wise. I will then cater their lessons accordingly to I see would help them improve.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching by first giving substitute lessons at my old music school I attended. I enjoyed it and continued to teach from then on.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginner students to more advanced students between the ages of 9-adult
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say be very specific about what you want out of the lessons. Also make sure you get along with your teacher since you will be seeing them every week.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
-what type of gear do they need?
-do you want to learn to read music?
-what are you goals with the guitar? (Examples: Write your own songs, play for fun, sight reading, techniques, playing style)
-are you willing to put aside 20-30 minutes for at least 4 times a week for practicing?
