About
I started playing the Drums at age 13 and joined my very first Rock Band in New York City. I was the lead Drummer in my High School Band until I graduated. I recorded my first Disc at age 14 in the company of Musicians three times my senior. I also recorded and performed in Los Angeles and toured one dozen Countries. I was the Senior Judge at the World's largest Drum Competition for 12 years (Miami Division).

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I focus on technique, independance and coordination.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied the Drums with the greatest Latin Drummer that ever existed until graduation. He then appointed me as his Drum Teacher Apprentice to later become a full-time Professional Drummer and Drum Teacher myself.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing varies according to lenght of lesson and if taken at the Student's house (driving distance and time are factors ,too).
How did you get started teaching?
My Drum Teacher encouraged and trained me to start teaching at his Drum Studio.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of Students, from as young as 3 1/2 to 90 years of age (Men, Women and Children).
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Performing live on Stage and Recording are events I'm very fond of.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should ask whatever questions are on their minds without feeling embarassed or timid!
