About

Hi, I'm Santiago, a guitarist, performer, and music educator based in South Florida. I teach guitar to students of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners picking up the instrument for the first time to advanced players looking to improve their technique, improvisation, musicianship, and ear training.

One of my greatest passions is helping students develop their ears. Many guitar players learn where to place their fingers, but never learn how to truly hear music. My lessons incorporate ear training, helping students recognize melodies, chords, intervals, rhythms, and chord progressions by ear so they can play with greater confidence and musicality.

I have years of experience performing, recording, and teaching music in both private and group settings. I currently work as a music mentor and instructor, helping students develop not only technical skills but also creativity, confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

Lessons are tailored to each student's goals and interests. Whether you want to learn your favorite songs, improve your rhythm playing, master lead guitar, understand music theory, learn the CAGED system, develop improvisation skills, or prepare for performances, I create a personalized plan designed to help you succeed.

Students enjoy working with me because I'm patient, encouraging, and focused on making learning both effective and enjoyable. My teaching style combines practical playing skills with a deeper understanding of how music works, helping students become well-rounded musicians rather than simply memorizing songs.

My goal is simple: to help you become the guitarist you've always wanted to be while making every lesson engaging, rewarding, and fun.

I had an amazing experience with these one-on-one online guitar lessons. Santi was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and made everything easy to understand, even the parts I had struggled with on my own. He took the time to tailor the lesson to my goals and learning style instead of using a one-size-fits-all approach.

I had my first guitar lesson with Santi today and really enjoyed it! He was super patient, easy to talk to, and made everything feel approachable. He explained things clearly and gave me helpful tips that I could start using right away. The lesson was fun, relaxed, and motivating. I’m already looking forward to the next lesson!

I’ve been taking lessons with Santi, and even as an intermediate player, I’ve learned a lot from him. He has been helping me understand how to visualize chords and play over chord changes in a way that actually makes sense, and I was able to apply it right away.
He’s also been really patient and easy to learn from. There was never any judgment, and if I didn’t understand something the first time, he’d explain it again until it clicked. Santi is super knowledgeable and insightful, and Im definitely improving as a player because of his guidance. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their guitar playing.
