About
As both a performer, school teacher and private instructor, I have had the opportunity to adjust my knowledge of different teaching methods based on my student's needs. My extensive background in music theory sets a good foundation for students to successfully begin understanding and connecting musical concepts. Very often, my versatile teaching and performing experience of different genres help me easily adjust to students' interests and learning pace.
Music is a movement, an emotion, an ingenious thought, and an extraordinary way of communication! And all those little details that it possesses have been lightened in many different ways by the students I taught - that is what inspires me the most in a teaching process.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually rely on combining methods such as Faber Piano Adventures, Color Method, Alfred's Piano Method, and Suzuki Method. These methods are just some of the means in the process of accomplishing students' goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In the last 17 years, I have been working as a private music instructor in Europe and in the US teaching students from the age of 2 up to 65. Also, I have 23 years of experience in performing various musical genres and instruments (piano, double bass, accordion, percussion) in numerous ensembles. Aside from my extensive training in piano performance, I graduated musicology and double bass performance from the University of Miami and the University of Arts in Belgrade.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The pricing system is standard. I offer 30 minute, 45 minute, and 60 minute lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
I was a music nerd in my music high school, so everybody would ask me for a piece of advice or help with homework. After that, my passion for teaching continued to grow.
What types of students have you worked with?
In the last 17 years, I have been teaching both kids and adults in Europe and in the U.S. browsing through various methods and finding the system that would serve best for each student. In the last 8 years, I served as a music teacher in music high school (individual and group lessons), in a piano studio, and as a teaching assistant at the University of Miami.

As a music writer for Artburst Miami and South Florida Classical Review, I get a chance to attend many exciting events in the city. Miami International Piano Festival had a vast success this year, and more of my impressions about one of their concerts you can read here:
