Mr Falk (Director of Music at Alexander School) has trained and educated thousands of students since the '90s. Piano lessons, Guitar and Voice lessons are his specialty. He also teaches Trumpet, Bass and Flute.
Mr. Falk has won awards from Universal and Disney. He directs rock bands and show choirs.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Introduce the subject and the goals the student wants to achieve. Start a step by step program to playing or singing. Build confidence and a system to learn.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A BA in Music from Oakland University. Studied composition and performance in both Classical and Jazz music. I have performed a piano concert for President Clinton in 1996 and traveled throughout the world performing foe audiences. I have taught in schools since 1995 and I'm currently a music director at Alexander School.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My prices are $30 hours for a half hour lesson and $50 for an hour lesson.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching in 1984 at a little store called Sunnyland music I eventually became the manager of the store and established in education system for children to learn music. In 1995 I started teaching in classrooms and developed shows andmusical learning systems that children could excel in their performance.
What types of students have you worked with?
I educate students from five years up to 12 years old. In the Rock School the students can be as old as 14.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We placed second place at Universal Studios in the show choir competition in May of 2017.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
How did she find a teacher that not only do they get along with but one that is going to challenge them and bring out the greatness of their talent.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should let the teacher know what their goals are and ask how they're going to achieve their objective.
