I have independently studied and travelled the world for 9 years to gain experience and wisdom in the fields of Yoga, healing, spirituality, and dance. I have a teaching certificate in Sivananda yoga, and have done Vinyasa and Yoga therapy trainings. I started Egyptian bellydance in Philadelphia in 2009, Sivananda Yoga TTC cert. India, Reiki healing practitioner, studies with Zoe Jakes for 5 years and completed Dancecraft key of diamonds and Spades and other intensives with her. 8 elements Initiation by Rachel Brice, 2 month Holistic Temple dance training by Zola Dubnikova in Goa. Studied at Temple of Dance in Goa for many years with several international teachers, (Maya Full Power, Brooke Nikelle Khan, Lia Pavlidis, Jiva and more) Bharatnatyam with Deeptha and Aparajita Pratachari, Odissi in Goa and Kathak in Mumbai. Completed Tribal Mania Festival and attended Jambhalla NW. Self taught at Hoopdancing, flow arts, and fire dancing for over 8 years. I have studied Buddhist meditation, done vipassana, and am always seeking to improve my ability to help others and educate myself with body biomechanics and spirituality to practice in a holistic way. I am happy to help you with your intentions and reach personal goals of wellness, health and fitness.
I provide Fusion Bellydance classes, Indian Fusion, Sacred Movement Alchemy, (Sacred Feminine Sufi inspired fusion class), Yoga, fitness and conditioning. Reiki and healing also available.
I enjoy helping others in a personal way that meets their needs. I love movement, meditation, Eastern philosophy, and bridging worlds to create a deeper sense of oneness and connection to the divine and inner wisdom. I also love to empower and connect women through dance and their sacred sensuality and feminine essence.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I see first if they have any specific conditions that need to be worked on and their goals in the practice. From there I work out a plan with specific meditations, asanas, and pranayama that will help them meet their needs. I am also available for consultation about diet and lifestyle.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Sivananda Yoga TTC and Vinyasa Yoga TTC. Reiki and Access Consciousness cert. Also years of practice with Buddhist meditations, body biomechanics and dance training. I have researched Ayurveda, holistic healing, energy work and natural wellness/nutrition.

I offer group classes at rates provided by the studio at Buddha Grove and The Banyan House. Private instruction is $100/hour, but available for those in need with lower income at a discount.
How did you get started teaching?
I was on a personal healing journey, I had difficulty with clinical depression for years. I came to meditation and yoga to heal myself. This journey led me on a discovery through India and beyond to find alternative ways and innate healing Methods using ancient techniques and wisdom.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with everyone. Regular peopke with normal jobs to jiu jitsu athletes and other yogis.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
At The Banyan House we have amazing events every day, and at Buddga Grove, monthly full moon sessions with Chakra healing, sound healing and I play a Shamanic Persian drum.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say to make sure they have an initiation in a reputable lineage and are in touch with the power of healing through Yoga and not merely the superficial aspects.

What is the deeper intention they have for finding a teacher, what about your life would you like to change. What are the deeper questions your soul is longing to find answers fir?
