What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I see first if they have any specific conditions that need to be worked on and their goals in the practice. From there I work out a plan with specific meditations, asanas, and pranayama that will help them meet their needs. I am also available for consultation about diet and lifestyle.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Sivananda Yoga TTC and Vinyasa Yoga TTC. Reiki and Access Consciousness cert. Also years of practice with Buddhist meditations, body biomechanics and dance training. I have researched Ayurveda, holistic healing, energy work and natural wellness/nutrition.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I offer group classes at rates provided by the studio at Buddha Grove and The Banyan House. Private instruction is $100/hour, but available for those in need with lower income at a discount.

How did you get started teaching?

I was on a personal healing journey, I had difficulty with clinical depression for years. I came to meditation and yoga to heal myself. This journey led me on a discovery through India and beyond to find alternative ways and innate healing Methods using ancient techniques and wisdom.

What types of students have you worked with?

I work with everyone. Regular peopke with normal jobs to jiu jitsu athletes and other yogis.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

At The Banyan House we have amazing events every day, and at Buddga Grove, monthly full moon sessions with Chakra healing, sound healing and I play a Shamanic Persian drum.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I would say to make sure they have an initiation in a reputable lineage and are in touch with the power of healing through Yoga and not merely the superficial aspects.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What is the deeper intention they have for finding a teacher, what about your life would you like to change. What are the deeper questions your soul is longing to find answers fir?
