Oscar is the owner and main instructor at ONCEALIENS. Oscar has been an active member of the South Florida music scene for over 24 years in various forms of music performance, production, and teaching. It was the interest generated from playing in bands that was the driving force for Oscar to learn and develop his skills as a recording engineer, producer and eventually a mixing engineer. Oscar's first encounter with recording was in 1994 and Pro Tools III but didn't begin recording his own audio and bands until 2003, that's what really generated his enthusiasm to learn and teach more about performance/recording. Oscar is essentially a fan of music and a perfectionist, his enthusiasm and experience shine through on every project he has been a part of. His experience as musician has also allowed him to know firsthand what artists put into their music and what they expect. With this in mind Oscar approaches every student from a musician’perspective with open communication.
