My teaching approach: I am a professional guitarist, singer, songwriter, recording artist and instructor. Between both live performance and teaching, I have over 35 years of experience. My influences are: Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Billy Gibbons, Leslie West, Robin Trower, Lynyrd Skynyrd The Beatles etc... My guitar lessons take place in: The teacher's studio Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours: Lessons are weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly and/or monthly. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The time length of each lesson is 30 to 45 minutes. I teach, Guitar Techniques: Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Open tuning, Fingerstyle, Slide Guitar, Vocal Accompaniment, Performance, Improvisation, Jamming Skills, Reading Music, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises, Song Writing, Recording and Production, Guidance In Equipment Selection Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following: A bit of small talk to get to know a little about the students taste in music and then get started learning immediately. A guitar lesson with me might entail the following: I teach lead/scales, rhythm, chords, keys, finger picking, slide guitar, alternative tunings, music theory, techniques, songs, improvising and lots, lots more, with a very strong focus on creativity and songwriting in any styles/genres on acoustic or electric guitars. The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following: Reliable, on time and someone that practices. Respectable and honest.
