David’s Academy It Music!

I tailor my lessons on an individual basis since each student learns in a certain way. I teach at an advanced level but also do beginners. If students are advanced and desire a more serious course of study, I'm very equipped to provide that. But if someone just wants to have fun and try something new, the lessons will reflect that and we'll just have fun!!!!

I have a bachelors degree in piano performance and have done work on a masters in collaborative piano at the University of Michigan studying under Martin Katz to coach and play for opera and musical theater singers on a full ride! So I teach piano and voice at all levels.

I love seeing students surprise themselves finishing a piece they never dreamed they could do. Music is a gift on so many levels: to perform can be healing or invigorating but teaching can change students lives! And I love all of it!
