A Prelude To The Classics Music Academy Of Performing Arts & Music Therapy Boca Raton & Sarasota Fl.

The Academy has been 100% online since the outbreak of COVID. Prior to Covid the Academy taught students desiring several lessons per week 40% online for student and parent convenience. The Academy is fully capable and equipped to easily teach first time beginners of all ages online, as well as exiting students online. Venues include: zoom, Skype, google meets and hangout, what’s app, facetime, Webex and several others.

The Academy offers customized private lessons to accommodate all learning styles with success for students ages 2+ at all levels. The Academy specializes in teaching gifted and talented students, as well as children on the Spectrum, Twice Exceptional, with learning disabilities including Autism, ADD, ADHD, and Einstein Syndrome and was rated “Best of the Best” in the County and surrounding vicinity for 2020. Recitals and Competitions are being held online with complete success.

All levels of piano- beginner to advanced and all types of music, classical to rock.

Group classes are held 4 times per week and include Advanced and beginning Note reading, Music Theory and Composition.

Private lessons include repertoire, sight reading, note reading and theory.

Competitions, performances, kids musicals are performed several times per year. Top rated with highest credentials. I would highly recommend Marcy as a piano teacher. She has done a tremendous job with my child, who had never played the piano before. She can read music fluently, understand the theory behind the music, and loves to play. She is playing at a level far more advanced than her friends who have been playing much longer. She is involved in selecting her piano pieces, and Marcy works with her in picking pieces she enjoys playing. Each lesson Marcy is enthusiastic and encouraging. My daughter can’t wait to practice, and loves to go to her lessons. She would go daily is we had the time, and now takes several lessons per week. Ms. Marcy is an amazing teacher and mentor. My daughter looks forward to her class every week. She is very encouraging which results in a boost of self confidence.
