What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically when working with a new student I take them through the basics of what ever it is we are training on. I spend time making sure the fundamentals are understood and core principles are learned.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm currently a personal trainer. I have gone to college for personal training and exercise science. I also served as a team leader in the military.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching martial arts in the military and fitness just went hand and hand with it.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types. Young, old, disabled, athletic, deconditioned, and so on.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure your teacher has enthusiasm about what they teach. If they aren't excited to teach you chances are you won't get the best training.
