Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do lessons in 30 and 60 minute segments. Additinal lessons are available by request.
How did you get started teaching?
I was in the private world and dreaming of making a living with music. One day I decided the time was right and I make the move into teaching full time. I've never looked back or regretted it.
What types of students have you worked with?
Children through elderly. Beginners through Advanced. I've taught people who have never picked up an insturment before and also coached preperation for professional auditions.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I got to send my daughter on a tour of the Southern US with a rock band.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for teachers who are going to teach you what you need to know. All too often teachers will just go right out of a book and there is alot of value to that. If you're wanting to learn everything possible about the insturment or you're new to music it's a great starting point. Look for someone who will be focused on your goals and your achievements and potential!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Why do you want to learn music?
What are you looking to accomplish?
What commitments are you willing to make in order to accomplish your goals?
