Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will begin with a phone call to understand the student's needs and goals. Sessions will typically include breathwork, asana practice, and guided mediation. All levels sequences are provided for group sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 400 hours (2 trainings at the 200 hour level) of teacher training and am always continuing my education. I am also a graduate student in family therapy where I learn mental wellness and mindfulness from a different lens.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing for private sessions starts at 100 for an hour (price will be adjusted for travel if needed).
For groups, I charge a minimum of 150 for the first 10 people, and a reduced rate of 10 per person after that.
Prices have been thoughtfully calculated based on training and costs of running the business.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching after quitting a corporate finance job in NYC!
What types of students have you worked with?
All levels! I have worked with college students as well as older populations and am passionate that yoga is for everybody.
