My teaching approach:

My teaching approach is very practical, I emphasize playing the instrument first and then learning music theory. the exercises are necessary but a fair amount of them. I tend to favor playing the music the student is familiar with, or he really likes. That makes learning the guitar FUN, and that is the main purpose to me, have fun playing music, singing, strumming, be part of a band, writing original tunes. I've teaching guitar for more than 25 years. I am bilingual: English and Spanish. Español es mi lengua nativa. I've got a master's degree from Temple University.
