What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will work with you to understand recipes and proper cooking methods. I offer both one time classes and ongoing classes. I can also do date night catering type of meals. I have a very wide variety of culinary skills so I can teach several types of cuisine. I can also instruct for various types of dietary needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a line cook for several years and was a Vietnamese sous chef. I have experience in mexican, southern and Vietnamese foods.
How did you get started teaching?
I discovered my passion for teaching people while training new cooks.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love attending the world of nations every year and always expanding my food knowledge.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone willing to work with your skill level and teach you from basics to advanced levels.
