What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Getting a clear understanding of what the student is looking for , weather it’s a one time event or more in depth classes . Once this is established I can suggest different options.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Have been a Chef for over 20 years in New York & Palm Beach, well diversified experience, multi cultural cuisine. Culinary Institute of America graduate , with well over 6 - 2 & 3 Star Reviews .Can offer many options or general basic fundamental classes on all basics of cooking. Or in house dinner parties
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Usually paid by the hour plus transportation , other variables would be purchasing of products & shopping
How did you get started teaching?
Have supported local Vocational Schools , & have trained hundreds of cooks. I’ve always been asked questions about cooking and the people always say how compassionate I am when I am speaking about food .
I’ve started doing some dinner events and off premise catering from my restaurant and it took offfrom there.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types some young eager looking to be able to provide meals for themselves or family . More experienced cooks looking to take it to the next level or people looking to learn specific tasks like soup making or hoe to break down a chicken.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Small dinner party for 6 guests , was the wife’s birthday , very special dinner , went very smooth.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
