What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Start with the basics, tuning 1st, basis chords, basic notes and barre chords, minor and major pentatonic scales, blues scales and then the minor and major scales, basic theory and modes.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Formal training in basic music theory.

You must ask yourself, do I you have an extra hour or two, every day, to learn how to play guitar, and the patience, that it may take months before being able to play songs?
