I am a professional accompanist and have been rehearsal accompanist for the Palm Beach Opera and Masterworks Chorus. I enjoy teaching students who have a strong desire to become proficient in piano performance, and singing performance as well. I have successfully prepared students for auditions to such prestigious schools as BAK Middle School and Dreyfoos School for the Performing Arts, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Florida Atlantic University, University of South Carolina School of Music. My studio includes students from West Palm Beach to Palm Beach Gardens. I am an opera singer and have performed with the Palm Beach Opera. In addition to giving piano lessons, I am also available for voice lessons. It is recommended that students who are considering a performing arts school should include both voice and piano.
I am happy to work with young children and adults as well. I look forward to building musical relationships with my students. I enjoy making music of all kinds.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will meet the student and interview them to find out their musical preference. (30 minutes trial lesson is available) I believe that classical training is an important foundation for many other forms of music as pop and jazz.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A native of Kobe, Japan where, as the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships, she pursued a dual major in the study of piano and voice at the Showa College of Music, the Showa School for Performing Arts, and the Japan Opera Society in Tokyo. Ms. Morimoto was privileged to study, train, and work with several opera legends including the famous Japanese tenor, Sakuzo Takada, who himself had trained under Luciano Pavarotti’s voice teacher, Arrigo Pola and concurrently studied opera score with Italian conductor and composer Gaetano Comelli.
My work as a rehearsal pianist created the opportunity to work with several eminent conductors including Anton Guadagno, Julius Rudel, and Bruno Aprea. Concurrently, she studied opera accompaniment with the esteemed Italian conductor, Massimo Morelli and worked with Carmela Altamura, Licia Albanese, and Anton Coppola in the Altamura Center in New York, the South Florida Opera Company, Miami Lyric Opera, and the Caruso International Competition. Other accomplishments include working as the backstage conductor and prompter for numerous Palm Beach Opera’s main stage performances.
