About
I design educational and artistic programs to activate, educate and empower individuals and communities. I train aspiring leaders and artists to positively affect their own lives and the lives of audiences through significant responsible use of their talents.
An experienced and educated professional of three pertinent disciplines, I will assist you to maintain focus on positive themes utilizing keen technique, in our contemporary culture.
Learn to effectively minister to various audiences across cultures.
Liturgical artists, never again be unwittingly "in the flesh" while ministering to audiences. Liturgical Dance and Worship is more than technically choreographed movement to aesthetically pleasing Christian music. Sow into The Kingdom by diligently detraining to become a masterful Liturgical Artist.
I am professionally trained in Dance and Drama, Social Work and Divinity. I teach and perform Liturgical Arts Ministry and I train Christian arts auxilliary leaders, as well as Social Service leaders who wish to use the arts terapeutically in their work.
I choreograph for groups or inidividuals of all ages. I also work with specially challenged populations--those with physical, mental, or emotional obstacles to overcome.
I, as a trained artist, I stress that technique is crucial to the artist, to develop your gifts into cunning talent. Time must be scheduled for the important work of building your technique.
I enjoy helping artists reach for the goals, improve their technique, and seeing purpose in their call and commission to the Performing Arts.
I enjoy seeing the lives of artists and audiences changed by the positive and crucial messages we receive, embody, and then present.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Determine goals and desires of the new student. Assess strengths and areas for improvment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A background and trianing in performing arts, ministry, and human services informs me to apply the human experience to choreography, production, and script-writing.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I price by the hour. However, additional time with sessions is discounted.
How did you get started teaching?
I was a beauty pageant winner as a teen, having danced for my talent presentation. After the positive pageant experience I began to dance, act, sing and do comedy in college.
I danced and acted until joining a very strict church during a time when and area of the country where dance was not allowed not understood as being a chosen venue for ministry. During that time I trained and worked with human services. After some years, I began to integrate dance and drama therapy into social service programs, and later through ministry programs.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with ages 3 to 84. I work with groups and individuals, teachers and performers. I work with students with physical, learning, or social and emotional challenges as well as those with normal and advanced functioning capacity.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A group of actors under my tutilage presented a public service announcement abut a serious health issue. It was presented as a comedy skit with a crucial message to the public. Through the artistic venue, the public could identify with a message that would change the lives of some of the audience.

Come expecting. God is ding new things. Expect to learn new and old technique. Learn how to work with a wide variety of students at their ability levels. Learn to create pieces that uses the artists' strengths.
