About this pro

Individualized lesson plans. I have twenty four years teaching experience all ages from 7 to 87. I motivate each student to do their best. Reasonable rates, so I can get as many students to study and learn the piano with me. Please go to my website: I am on Facebook too.

Getting students to learn to grow at the piano & perform at their best is extremely rewarding! That takes years of dedication and patience. I only encourage students never reprimand. Positive reinforcement works best and a little psychology used to motivate each student to perform at their best. That is why I have been teaching for twenty four years.

Eric got me to learn advanced classical pieces. I got to play on cable TV.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

To see how much they know and what level they are at. So I can give them individualized attention.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I studied classical piano with a Russian piano teacher. They have very high standards and they try to get you to be the best you can be at the piano.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I charge less if the student comes to my house. More if I have to travel to their house. Also I charge a sliding scale if they have less money and the really want to study with me. Also summer-time specials as well to keep them studying all year.

How did you get started teaching?

When I was  in my twenties. It just came naturally to me.

What types of students have you worked with?

All kinds. Some are quick and some are slow.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I got a 16 year old girl to perform on cable TV.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Look at their credentials. Listen to the other students to get an idea how good a teacher he is.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

How quick do they want to go. The amount of practicing determines the amount of progress
