Joe J. Faiella was born in New Jersey in 1952, and later raised in South Plainfield, NJ. His father purchased his first guitar at the age of 11, and from then on he developed a strong passion for music. The first thing his father taught him on the guitar was the "Boogie Woogie Shuffle". Joe influenced the neighborhood kids and teenagers to study, play daily, and eventually formed a band ,which won the Battle of the Bands ,with Original music. Joe J. Faiella is a Blues/Rock/Jazz/Folk/Boogie/mixed guitarist specializing in structured learning of the Acoustic/Electric Guitar. He has been playing and teaching throughout the USA for over 40 years. He has had students in many different cities including New Orleans, La. He specializes in all different types of musical genres and has a unique way of teaching and mentoring fundamentals of basic/ threw Advanced Guitar. Joe's students learn Special Chord and lead playing, Guitar theory, Rhythm, how to read and write music, and how to bring originality to their own music of choice. Joe has extraordinary leadership and planning skills, showing his students how to practice and prepare them to take their skills to the next level. He has a fun, outgoing personality and loves to work with all different ages and skill sets ranging from beginner to advanced. Joe has experience teaching at Abney's Music, TMC Music School, ect, private and Group lessons, beginner bands, and participating in recitals. He has also played for St. John Vianney Church in Orlando, Fl. Joe has had the opportunity to work with many celebrity artists including George Benson and Harry Lahey. He has also worked with Vincent Bredice (Author of Mel Bay Productions, Guitar Improvising)in Miami, Fl. Joe loves to perform and play weekly with artists all around Central Florida, recentely lives in Seminole, Florida,  33777.He has performed at some of the top places in Orlando including the famous Alley Blues Club, Muldoons, Ozone, Shovelhead Lounge, Jolly Gator fish camp in Geneva, and The Parlor Project. He brings to the table his traveling years of learning different playing skills, reading, and structured learning that includes fun and engaging practicing techniques. I love hearing the students background, introduction, Compliments, Smileing faces and what their willing to learn. Listening to all their lessons and U tube experience. I test them in different hand coordinations, of weakness and strength, no matter what they want to accomplish. I give at least 6 different types of homework so they never get board. I have gotten many compliments how I have my original easy teaching over all their past experiences. Every teacher, and all students are great. Sometimes you need to try my first hour and be surprised. I have  over 50yrs of homework to the serious student. Flexability, get them good enough to bring on stage in open Jams, or help them with just what their after. Save $$$ and time, Flexability with Schedules. What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Meet and Greet. Ask the student what specific areas they like to accomplish. Trial quiz of what the student can play, cordination,skills,posture techniques, testing their levels of performing, theory if any, originals if any, mainely how serious they like to get to. Flexability schedules if needed, no fees, Must practice as I give a schedule to their life schedule mentor counceling. I Mentor around the World privately and in groups on FB...

Studied private home lessons in the 70's, George Benson, queens NY, Harrey Lahey, Jazz no #1 in Guitar Player magazine, North Plainfield, NJ, Nick Cotella, Elizabeth, NJ, famous Private of Jazz. BLUES, Wes Montgomery, BB King, etc, Vincent Bredice, Mel Bay Authur of Productions of many books, Miami Fla, plus Played in Bands, Battle of Bands, 1000's on the road great musicians of all styles, originals, many Study Books, a lot of communications with Famous meet and greet Celebrities....
