If it wasn't for coach Jerry, I would be one of the top players now in Alabama. We still come gown an train with him throughout the year.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Find out a little about them. What are they looking to achieve in tennis. Give a great experience, and have fun in the process.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Received my PTR Certification in 1976.

Professional tennis player 5 years.

38 years coaching experience.

How did you get started teaching?

I saw a sincere lack of tennis teaching professionals that really teach a student to better their abilities to learn to play.

What types of students have you worked with?

I've  worked with kids from 3 years old beginners, high schoolers, college, nationally ranked, and professional players.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Always enjoy going to various events, whether a part of a fund raiser, spectator, or coaching my player. Miami Open always a great Pro stop on the ATP and the WTA Tour.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

That he or she is qualified to work with that specific student. Is prepared, has a lesson plan, and a desire for their student to sharpen their tennis skills.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

See above!
