Gabriela Garces Junior Tennis Coach
About
I love to teach kids and make them great players and great citizens. My philosophy is to teach kids the basics of tennis in a fun way so they can rally as quick as possible.
I enjoy to see young players having fun while playing and learning. We as coaches have a huge responsibility to give kids the right tools to become disciplined and respectful athletes. So they can grow with confidence and sportsmanship.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I introduce myself and ask their names and age. Then we start doing a fun warm-up to see his/her athletic skills. After a water break I proceed to feed them few balls to the forehand and backhand to evaluate experience. In case of an advanced player I observe their volley and serve. Close to the end of the session we play a fun game. Finally, we cool down and stretch and schedule the next session with the parent. Basically, first lesson it's to get to know the player. In case of a beginer player I would teach them the basics for groundstrokes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have done three PTR Certifications:
- 10 & Under Level 1-Instructor
- 11 to 17 Level 1
- 10 & Under Level 2- Professional
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard hour price is: $45/hour
FIRST SESSION: $25
- If you like the first lesson you can start paying standard hour price.
- If you want to bring other of your kids or siblings to the session I would charge $20 per any extra child.
- In case you like the results we can schedule 2 or 3 days a week per $150 a week($10 per extra player)
