Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
*It really depends on the menu and number of people. some classes are spice and cookware based so those are cost of groceries only, So basically FREE. you can earn free Gluten FRee and organic By being the host.
* Classes range from $15-100. Depending on if you among a group that we are all meeting at a winery or club, vs your house. and the theme.
* We did start a MEETUP group. Interactive Cooking Classes, feel free to join as well.
How did you get started teaching?
I have come across 100's and 1000's in my span of 20 years as a cook Now Executive Chef at Palm Bay MC, and love to teach people Time Saving Tips,, and "You Don't Have to be a Professional Chef to Cook like One"
What types of students have you worked with?
all ages, little munckins 4 yrs up and Senior Community. Everything in between.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We had a blast at the Meet n Greet with 6 members .
had a menu of Wild Watermelon salad with candied jalapenos, and fresh homemade guacomole with baguette and wine pairing. laughs and lots food, there was meat n cheese platter as well, a lite intro party.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Please definetly make sure they are following Food and drug , health laws and codes. Should have a serv Safe or Food management Certification to do business. This way you know you are gtting among the best and will not end up sick if food is nor properly handled. make sure they are a match in your theme and always ask if they offer a discount, you never know.
