About

Seeing a student reach their goals and gain self-confidence is my number one concern. I consider myself to be a passionate vocal teacher/voice coach and music teacher who will cheer her students on while giving sound, expert instruction, inspiration and advice. I have over 35 years of experience as a singer, songwriter and performer and over 25 years experience as a voice and music teacher. I teach all genres of music and specialize in audition prep for musical theatre and voice.

Here is my bio:

    Frequently asked questions

The first thing I do when working with a student is to set up an initial evaluation. During this time, we will put a plan into action and set goals for the student and develop an individual course. Every student is different and this is taken into account.

I studied Vocal Performance and Music Education at Florida State University. I also have a master's degree in Organizational Leadership.

    My pricing system is simple:

$30 per half hour of lessons/ $60 per hour

I got started teaching while I was an undergraduate student at Florida State University in 1988. I have always loved teaching and helping others receive the joy that music brings!!

I have worked with students from beginners to professionals in music. My students range in age from 6-76. Whether someone is just starting out or is a seasoned professional wanting to brush up on technique, I'm happy to help!

I am most fond of conducting and directing my Palm Beach Children's Chorus students on the world famous stage of Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2017. In 2020, we received another invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall, but were unable to, due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Look for a teacher that is going to be a positive mentor in your musical journey. Expertise is very important, but it needs to be combined with positivity and encouragement!
