I teach all levels. I have been teaching guitar and bass privately for more than 45 years. I am able to make a beginner a player, and I also teachand coach advanced guitarists (who have been playing for decades). Ive taught hundreds of satisfied students, and several of them have now become teachers. I have a unique teaching method which took over 10 years to develop.
i teach accurate "off the record" guitar licks, chord progressions, and solos, in gereres of blues and rock, in the styles of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, snd others.
My students become great players, and they are my best advertisement. I am deeply satisfied with ny profession because I'm able to make a difference in the lives of others.
I am a competant guitarist with 55 years of playing experience.
I teach all the classics, from Chuck Berry, to Grren Day, and every classic rock and blues artist, chosen upon the request of the student.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Reading tabulature, chord charts. FINGER EXERCIZES. I teach my students more than what to practice, but HOW TO PRACTICE.

Private Guitar and Badd instructor with more than 40 years experience. I also taught music in public schools, I have extensive, and world wide recognition as a guitar designer.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Usually $100. For 4 (weekly) lessons at my studio in West Palm Beach, and $150. for 4 lessons at students home.
How did you get started teaching?
I want to share share my passion for the instrument. I wish I had someone witn my expertice guiding me when I began playing. Would have saved me years of"woodsheding".

8-80. Begineers and advanced.

Taught privately at Marathon Music, Boynton Beach from 2001. -2016, averaged 40-50 students per week.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the teacher can play (especially the style of students endeavor). Also, check out the ability of students who have taken lessons with a particular teacher.
