I have been teaching private piano lessons for over 35 years and truly enjoy working with students of all ages and levels of study. Understanding your personal goals and helping you achieve them is the joy of working one-on-one with my students. Many enjoy performance and competitions, preparing for a career as a musician but most students are learning for the joy of playing the instrument and exploring all types of music. Piano lessons can be fun! I also teach music theory classes and music history in small groups for those students looking for a broader music education. I can offer the experience of teaching, a passion for music and a love of seeing my students be successsful.
Music is my passion, teaching is my life's work. Sharing what I have learned is what excites me everyday. I have a different teaching plan for every student that is designed to help them achieve their personal goals in piano study. Learning to play an instrument is more fun when there is a partnership between the teacher and the student. It is my hope to share a gift that will last a lifetime.
