About
South Tampa native Matt Jeffries' passion for music has led him to open a more contemporary and innovative music studio to encourage musicians, youth bands, and ensembles, to take their "chops" to a new level. This is achieved through private and group instruction, personalized musical arrangements, performance technique, songwriting, and recording.
Matt graduated from Plant High School in 2008 and headed to Tallahassee, where he recieved dual degrees in finance and political science. Currently, Matt is the Music Director for the Lifeteen Band and Youth Group at Christ the King Church. You can also catch him performing acoustic gigs around Tampa at private parties, weddings, and the Christ the King Carnival in April.
Due in large part to his talent and determination, Chops Music Studio has become a flourishing center for musical education in the South Tampa area. Matt employs only the highest quality teachers for the studio, and we pride ourselves on our ability to pick and choose the best teacher for every student. Chops Music Studio is centrally located on the corner of Malijo and Bay to Bay Blvd.

Our standard lessons package is a monthly tuition of $160 a month for a half hour lesson every week (for an average of 4 lessons per month).
