Barrett School Of Music

Barrett School of Music offers in-home music lessons to students throughout Hillsborough County as well as the St. Pete area. Let our teachers come to you! No need to fight traffic or bring your whole family into a strange waiting room. Save time and stay comfy with us!

We teach piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, drums, violin, viola, cello and bass. Lessons can be 30 minutes, 45 minutes or an hour.

Our pricing is clear and easy. Rates are based on time:

$43/30 minutes

$64.50/45 minutes

$76/hour

We bill monthly and only for the lessons you take. Cancel with 24 hours notice easily in our parent portal and enjoy automatic billing as well.

We start students as young as 2 years old and as old as 90! Our youngest learners just need the attention span and fine motor skills relevant to their instrument, and our older learners just need a love for their instrument.

In addition to private, in-home music lessons, we also offer group music activities such as summer camps and semesterly ensembles.

Or join us during the school year for Rock Band, which meets at our South Tampa studio on Tuesdays at 5:30pm or our Kids Choir, which meets on Thursdays at 5:30pm.

Lastly, we host 3 traditional recitals each year. Our Spooktacular Show is in October and is dress up themed. Our Holiday Recital in December is ugly sweater themed. And our Spring Recital in April/May is a celebration of all our students have accomplished in the last year.
