My teaching approach:

I have been playing guitar for 10 years and I am currently a studio guitarist, live performer and play in a national touring rock band. When I teach guitar I focus on the many key aspects I have learned on my journey and help my students to gain the same knowledge. I love playing guitar and there is nothing better than helping someone to gain passion and skill on such a great instrument.

My guitar lessons take place in:

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:

I currently teach seven days a week and teach most hours of the day from 9 am to 8pm

Guitar Techniques:

Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Open tuning, Performance, Improvisation, Jamming Skills, Scales and Exercises

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following:

I usually go over what musical style you play and what style you want to learn. I access your musical knowledge and I may have you play a few different exercises and scales to assess your playing ability.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:

A typical lesson with me will entail various warm-up exercises, music theory, chords/scales and other techniques. Much of this depends on your skill level and what you want to learn.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:

passion is more important than skill or knowledge. A student that has a desire to become a better guitarist and is willing to practice and study is an ideal student to me.
