I have been teaching piano since 1999. I teach ages 4 to adult from beginner levels to early advanced levels. I teach individual and group piano class in my home studio in Wellington FL.
I began my teaching career in New Jersey and have been here in Palm Beach County Florida since 2005. I am a longtime member of the MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) and I keep up with all aspects of my profession as I am a full-time piano teacher.
I teach both piano and keyboard to students who enjoy different styles of music including classical music, jazz, showtunes, standards, contemporary, religious or spiritual, as well as music theory.
I teach piano instructionto students with special needs and have seen a lot of success with my students during his or here studies with me.
I am both patient and understanding, and believe each and every student I teach is special and unique. I tailor my teaching style directly to the student because I do not believe there is a "one size fits all" model of teaching. I look forward to meeting you!
I enjoy all aspects of being a piano teacher to students of every age and level of piano playing.
I enjoy watching the student take a musical journey that is never ending and will always be a part of his or her life.
I especially love to watch the piano student leave the lesson happy, with a big smile and filled with the joy of learning.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask the student a lot of questions. I ask them how they are doing, how he or she is enjoying school, as well as asking about their hobbies.
As a piano and keyboard teacher I make sure that I review all aspects of the piano.
It also depends if the student has previous experience with another piano instructor or not.
