Hi I'm a doctoral student in piano performance studying at UGA with Evgeny Rivkin. If you are interested in learning fundamental piano technique and getting classical training that is all applicable to high quality musicianship please reach out to me. I also can teach music theory and sight reading as well as church and choral accompanying. I have been teaching for more than 10 yeard and playing piano for more than 20. I have worked with people of all ages and skill levels.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I work by assessing their needs and their ability, and work in a careful step by step way to help them grow musically.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently studying for my doctoral degree in Piano Performance at UGA with Professor Evgeny Rivkin. I also am an organist and pianist at Watkinsville First United Methodist. I have more than 10 years of teaching people of all ages privately and in various music studios.
What types of students have you worked with?
Kids, adults, seniors, high schoolers, middle schoolers. People from all walks of life.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Musically nurturing a student with no prior musical experience to be able to play on stage. It was a terrific joy as a teacher.
