About
Bio: Christopher Jackson began his musical journey at the age of 11 in middle school , participating in the symphonic concert band , jazz band , and steel drum band. In middle school Jackson began honing his skills on Clarinet, Piano, and various percussion including marimba and steel pans. A few years later he matriculated to trumpet, saxophone and voice , adding marching band and various honor bands to his resume. At the age of 15 he began learning various recording and production programs in his music technology classes, working with several program including FL Studio, Protools, Ableton, Finale , and much more. Upon graduating, he attended Claflin University where e began to refine his skills a vocal and piano minor. Many illustrious opportunities such as performing for Oprah Winfrey's Father, grammy winners Lalah Hathaway, Jonathan Butler, and Kirk Whalum, and opening for American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino became added to his resume as he began to gain attention as a serious performing artist. Jackson has dedicated his life to his passion for all things music and being apart of keeping music alive in our communities.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I normally assess their personal goals first. I then cater my lessons to helping each student acheive personal success , while giving them tools that will enhance their own artistry amd develop a uniquesness in their talent.

$30/hr for all lessons paid via cash,paypal,or cash app.
How did you get started teaching?
I was asked by many people who witnessed me perform in public if I teach. From there I began developing my teaching resume.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with Adults as well as young kids of beginner and intermediate levels.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am very fond of benefit concerts.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My sole advice would be to make sure that your teach is fully invested in your personal greatness as an artist/musician.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should be aware of the hard work that goes into acheiving their goals, and think about what resources they will need to meet their needs.
