About
Over 20 years of teaching lessons in the performing arts to all ages and abiltities. We teach our students with the premise they are going to do their craft as a profession. We expect our students to work between lessons as much as possible that way during the lesson time we can truly focus in on areas that need improvement. We are performance based and train with protraying characters that actually suit the student.
It's extremely exciting to see all my experience and knowledge flow into my students while they progress with the lessons. The joy that fills them when their confidence builds and they begin to discover new things is wonderful to see!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I initally send out a list of questions to best get the info I need on where the student is at and where they want to go. During our first lesson depnding on time limits we will immeditely get to work on material the student has provided and look over my material as well if I feel it would suit the student. This process will continue. I will always suggest material but it is in the end up to the student on what they want to work on during our time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my undergrad degree in Theater and Performance Studies from
Kennesaw State University. And my graduate work from The Amercian Musical and Dramatic Academy.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Typically my lessons run $60 for an hour and so on. However, I am always open to negotiation and willing to work wihthin any students budget.
How did you get started teaching?
I've always been a learn by doing type of person. I've always wanted to share and encourage others to follow their dreams. I've been the eldest son in my large family and I guess it starts there, teaching my younger siblings about music, cars, life and so on. But with the arts I started teaching throughout college while directing and such. Private lessons was the next step and I just adore it.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages from 5 through 50 thus far. Male and female. Professionals and beginners.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Having students bring their entire families with them to come see my performances is truly full circle. They learn in lessons but get to see professionals work as well. That is magic.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Energy and true passion for giving back and guiding. I believe the best teachers are versed and constantly working in the fields they teach. Lead by example. Inspire!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do I want from these lessons? Why am I taking lessons? Is this my choice or someone else aka a parent deciding for me. In the performing arts lessons only work if the student chooses to be there and works between lessons on their own.
