About
Teaching Philosophy: I assess student’s capabilities and desig lessons based from current and desired skills/goals, using standard methods such as Mel Bay, Hal Leonard and Berklee. Instruction is further enhanced by utilizing guitar masters in the specific area of interest and assigning arrangements that develop technique and modal theory. I have my degree in Guitar Performance from West Chester University (Philadelphia, PA). I offer top quality guitar lessons at more than an affordable price. I have been teaching, playing, & recording music for over 25 years, including holding such prestigious jobs as Head Guitar Instructor at Julia's Performing Arts School (NYC) & Atlanta Academy of Music. I play most popular styles, and stay on top of the hottest, current techniques, as well as the tried and true old school fundamentals. Music stands, foot rests, amps, cords, are provided during the lessons. When it comes to one's music education, you need to find a teacher with both the passion & dedication to their craft, and that is exactly what I offer. Hope to hear from you soon!

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Played for a wedding where I was actually "heckled" in between pieces. The bride's grandfather was in the early stages of dementia, and kept carrying on a conversation (he was sitting directly behind me in a pew) as I played. It was a small church & he was a pretty big guy, w/a loud, booming voice. I would finish a tune, and then he would begin to "converse" in a semi-shout, "I used to play guitar!". Definitely one for the record books...
