About
I have taught music for over 13 (thirteen) years, two (2) years in a classroom and ten (10) in private lessons. I currently hold a Bachelor degree in Music Education. I have taught both elementary school and middle school levels: Band, chorus, and general music. I use my classroom techniques in order to provide individual learning curriculums that will help teach you not only the instrument that you will be learning, but music in general. I am also a classroom music teacher, so I am able to teach in different conditions and teach students of multiple learning types and styles. I am very passionate about what I do and have been for a very long time. I will make you feel special and am a great motivator as well.
I love teaching and music is my passion. The fact that I can combine the two is a dream come true. I enjoy what I do very much and put my 110% in my teaching, students, and music education!

Frequently asked questions
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students: older, younger, etc. I am very patient and adaptable to all of my students needs. I have worked with as young as three and as "mature" as 65 years old.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that the teacher is patient and is very knowledgeable about not only your instrument but music in general. Make sure the teacher hold the utmost interest in the child and works towards providing different oppurtunities towards their success.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Patience is key. Although because you are a musician it may come easier for you, it is not always easy for other people. If you do not have patience, you might as well not even be in this field. It takes time and you have to motivate them to do great things. That in my opinion makes a great teacher. Making lessons relatable is very important as well.
