Hello my name is Dorson, currently the fourth year undergraduate studying in Boston New England conservatory with full scholarship, in this fall will enroll Yale school of music with full scholarship.
I am a concert violinist, I appear as soloist with orchestra including Taipei symphony orchestra, taiwan academy of string orchestra, taiwan phil orchestra, taipei civic symphony, onesong symphony orchestra etc…
Besides studying and playing concerts, I do teach students from beginner to advance student who are desire to audition for music conservatories in US, I also have the teaching certificate with suzuki method I am knowledgeable on teaching the beginner throughout this method! I have been teaching both online and in person class for 5 years already, I am a very passionate and very hard working teacher!

I usually will see how this student's technique level, and I will assign them the repertoires and technique stuffs that suitable for them

I usually charge 50 US dollars for intermediate to advanced level students. 45 US dollars for beginners
How did you get started teaching?
I actually started to teach a student from my mom's piano student who inspired by my violin playing and want to learn the violin.
What types of students have you worked with?
Right now I am teaching all levels of students from beginners to advanced players. I also prepared some of my students audition for the pre college in US, and they got accepted.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I would say, do not hesitate to ask anything.
